Corporate Responsibility & Sustainability
Responsibility in Action. Sustainability by Design.
Driving positive impact through ethical, inclusive, and sustainable practices.
Responsibility is in our DNA
At Bayton, corporate responsibility is more than a policy, it’s a commitment embedded in every contract, site, and service we deliver. We believe in doing what’s right for our people, our planet, and our partners, and we act decisively to make a measurable difference.
From reducing carbon emissions and advancing green cleaning practices, to building long-term Indigenous partnerships and eliminating modern slavery, we take a proactive, evidence-based approach that goes far beyond compliance.
Our work is guided by:
- UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
- Australia’s Modern Slavery Act 2018
- ISO-certified environmental, quality, and safety systems
- Transparent Scope 3 emissions tracking through our ClearSight platform.
We are committed not only to meeting industry standards but to raising them, showing what responsible service can and should look like in the cleaning and facilities sector.

Environmental Commitment
We deliver low-impact, high-performance cleaning by integrating eco-certified products, energy-efficient equipment, and waste minimisation strategies. Our environmental management systems are ISO 14001 certified, and we are actively reducing Scope 3 emissions through smarter procurement, logistics, and client engagement.
Indigenous Partnerships
We work respectfully and collaboratively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, creating pathways for training, employment, and business growth. Guided by our Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP), we prioritise cultural awareness, heritage protection, and procurement from Indigenous-owned enterprises.Certifications & Compliance
Our operations meet and exceed industry requirements through rigorous certification and regulatory adherence. We hold ISO 9001 (Quality), ISO 14001 (Environmental Management), and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety), along with full compliance to WHS, Fair Work, and industry-specific standards.Leading with ClearSight™
Through our ClearSight reporting platform, clients have real-time visibility of our ESG progress—covering sustainability performance, compliance status, workforce diversity, and social impact metrics. This transparency ensures accountability and enables collaborative progress.
A Continuous Journey
Corporate responsibility and sustainability are not static goals, they are commitments we continue to strengthen year after year. We regularly review and refine our approach, engage with industry and government on emerging best practice, and set ambitious targets that challenge us to do more.
By integrating ESG principles into every aspect of our operations, we create value that extends beyond contracts, driving environmental improvements, advancing social equity, and delivering trusted, compliant services for our clients.
We believe responsible business is good business. Our people, partners, and clients trust us because we act with integrity, lead with transparency, and never stop striving for better.
